Grandparents and their little ones dressed up in traditional Punjabi attires lent a charm to the celebration. Kids had a wondrous time listening to some side splitting anecdotes, old songs, poems and folk tales told by their grandparents. Spirit of the day captivated everyone as they enjoyed singing folk songs, playing games and relishing chatti di lassi ,Gur di cha with mathi and gur pare.
